Race Dates


Hialeah Race Park 

Fiscal year 2011-2012    32 days of racing over 11 weeks, $120,000/day
The meet will open December 10, 2011 and close February 19, 2012.  Accredited Florida Breds will earn 20% more purse money for their owners and breeders over open horses at the 2011/2012 Hialeah Park meet, and most of the races will be Accredited Florida Bred preferred. Stakes schedules are posted!! A preliminary condition book for the 2011/2012 Hialeah Park meet should be available soon. Come join the fun at this beautiful historic track. Florida Bred money will be excellent, so if you are lucky enough to have one--bring ‘em! The 2011-2012 Hialeah Park stakes schedule, calendar, and nomination forms and can be accessed on the Forms Page. All owners must be members in good standing with FQHRA to run in stakes races at Hialeah.

New Quarter Horse Track!!

A ground-breaking ceremony for a Quarter Horse racing track and gaming facility in north Florida took place on January 25th, 2011.

The centerpiece of the facility will be an equestrian center and Quarter Horse track, just off the I-10 interchange in Gretna. The partnership and project will make Gretna a destination for horsemen, spectators, outdoorsmen, poker players, sports enthusiasts and tourists. The new facility is expected to open in Winter 2011.
