Rule Change for Laddie & Lassie Futurity

To Hialeah Horsemen:

            There has been much discussion about First Time Starters entering the trials for the 2009 Hialeah Laddie & Lassie Futurity and the 2009 Derby. It was originally stated that First Time Starters could not enter these trials that are early in the meet. Due to the fact that there appears to be a large response from non starters in Florida, FTS’s will be allowed to start in the trials of these races. Today (October 20, 2009) is the due date for the first payment into these races. FQHRA & Hialeah will allow a 5 day grace period so that anyone that has not entered because of the FTS rule & Hialeah can still enter without a penalty.

            We apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to seeing you at Hialeah Race Park.
